A guide to the best stops on Lake Washington's eastern shore, from steak to Indian to Taiwanese cuisine

Known collectively as Seattle’s Eastside, the cities just east of Lake Washington are home to an abundance of dining hotspots that often get overlooked. Though not considered part of Seattle proper, the area certainly tends toward the pricey end of the spectrum, but has long had an impressive range of cuisines, from Thai to Taiwanese to Italian to Indian, and the selection is only getting stronger (with a mix of more affordable places as well). Here are Eater Seattle’s top picks across the bridge, including restaurants in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, and Woodinville.

These places are not ranked, but listed geographically, from west to east. If you think we missed a spot or want us to consider adding something for a later update, send us a tip.
